I’ve ordered a refurbished laptop from the dell website. It was a good price and I was wondering if anyone has had bad battery problems with refurbished laptops and where they Purchased them. Please include any other problems you have experienced with refurbished laptops. Thanks in advance

I have seen what appear to be good deals on laptops on some shopping search engines. The prices look good and the features are what I need, but I worry about the quality. Has anyone bought a refurbished laptop and if so what was your experience with it?

i finally decided on getting myself a laptop (dell 1558) as my desktop is dying now lol.

is it worth me buying a refurbished 1558 from ebay with high specs as buying one new would mean getting specs an awful lot lower at a higher price. Also if a laptop is refurbished does this mean it is not new, has it been used by somebody and will the laptop still be in perfect working order?

I recieved a Dell Latitude D600 latop for Christmas. It was pre-owned, but refurbished. I mostly use it when it is connected to a power source, but recently, I let it just run on it’s batter and it the battery life shrunk to less than 30% in 10 minutes. Is this normal with newly refurbished laptops? Am I doing something wrong? I have my power settings on a pretty conservative level, but even if they weren’t, it shouldn’t drain the battery THAT fast. Any suggestions?

Not for music, or many pictures, just basic, home, internet use Laptop. Maybe like 1-2 GB of RAM and about 60 GB hard drive, very simple. I found one for 240 on EBay, seems reliable but I was wondering if anyone knew of any AUTHENTIC, reliable websites to buy used\refurbished laptops?
