Im looking to get a new computer (most likely want a laptop) but i only have about 500-600 dollars so i need to know if anyone knows any good computers around that price range or even cheaper. I want to play games on it and would like a good battery life. Thanks in advance to any responses.

I would like to purchase a gaming computer to play new games like gw2 when it is released. What would be better in terms of quality vs price? Buying parts and self assembling a computer or just buying a pre built computer and modifying it? If you can also give a price range and opinion that would be great. Can be for desktop or laptop, please state which.

Can I have the price of a gaming PC and gaming laptop.

I’m thinking about getting the m11x Alienware laptop, but I’ve heard you need to know gaming computers pretty well to maintain it. I know as much about computers as the average person, but I’m not sure if that’s enough.

what are some good gaming computers that will run things like starcraft 2, diablo, fallout, the witcher and such without a hitch, preferably a laptop thats no more than 0. links to a web page with info on them would be awesome
and please none of the custom or build your own,cause idk really anything about comps except for how to use them

see in the summer im hoping first month or so i should be able to buy a new laptop (i’ll have around 2000$ or more) and i was wondering in advance becuz i can’t wait what type of laptop will give me good gaming capabilities (i mostly play counter strike source, but i want more capabilities then just 1 game) with my current computer i can only have 1 game installed at a time so it kinda sucks anyway any info would be great thanks.

Is it possible to find a good laptop for under 500, and if so, what brands are the ones to look for?

I’m selling it in CashConverters will I get anywhere around £300 for it if it was £750 when I got it.

Hi. I bought a laptop from Geeks.com a while back and it came with software (XP Pro) pre-installed, but they never sent me a disk to reload it if I needed to. I have the product key on the bottom of the laptop, so I can reinstall it, but no disk/software to do so. Well, I need to reinstall it ASAP, but don’t know how to get the disk. Who do I contact? I had been told to contact Microsoft, but they said you have to go to the manufacturer. Will Geeks.com be able to send it to me, or do I need to fight with Dell?

I have recently purchased a refurbished laptop from Dixons. I am looking for any insurance company to insure it with. Could you please enlist any insurance companies in UK which provide insurance cover for refurbished laptops.

I have a refurbished laptop.
I can’t trust what it says on the outside of the laptop (it has a sticker that says it is Windows Vista but it actually has Windows XP pro) It has this wrote on it the outside of the casing DVD R/RW DVD rewritable…. but that doesn’t mean anything since it was refurbished

When i put in a blank dvd it only asks me if I want to burn a cd
Is there somewhere in the laptop that I can find if it has a dvd burner?

Please include step by step instructions on how to get to wherever (example: click start, then click my computer…)

I bought a refurbished Advent 5312 laptop at christmas. The charger cable has become twisted and has broken in some places, exposing the wires inside. As it is a refurbished latop, it may not be the original power cable anyway, but would it be ok to use a new charger cable that isn’t specifically meant to be used for this laptop?
i’m not sure whether it’s called a charger cable or a power adaptor, but it’s the cable in between the box (charger?) and the laptop

I’ve ordered a refurbished laptop from the dell website. It was a good price and I was wondering if anyone has had bad battery problems with refurbished laptops and where they Purchased them. Please include any other problems you have experienced with refurbished laptops. Thanks in advance

I have seen what appear to be good deals on laptops on some shopping search engines. The prices look good and the features are what I need, but I worry about the quality. Has anyone bought a refurbished laptop and if so what was your experience with it?
