I want one of these gaming computers but I’m not sure which one is worth it more and better for the price.

a ) Why is #2 0 more than #1? Is it a lot better? whats given in #2 that #1 doesn’t have?

b) Which do you recommend I buy? I want to play starcraft 2, counter strike source.

c) Overall do you think #1, or #2 are good deals or way too expensive?

Just under a year ago I bought my current ASUS laptop, thinking it was a great gaming computer that I could use for World of Warcraft. It has been great the time that I’ve had it but unfortunately these past weeks I found I was wrong as WoW has almost completely burned out this laptop and everything has slowed down so much that it’s not even usable sometimes.

I’m looking into buying a new computer (a desktop this time) and I really have no clue about what brands are ideal for World of Warcraft and Sims gaming? I really only have about a 00 budget (maybe a little more), so I unfortunately can’t go buy those high-tech gaming computers that are around 00.

Any advice would be much appreciated.

I’ve been having a lot of problems with my computer lately (I’m running a Dell Optiplex 755 with Windows XP) because it’s not allowing me to run my Sims 2 or 3 games. When I contacted customer support, they told me it was because my graphics card was so basic that it was having trouble running the graphics of these games.
I could just go out and buy a new graphics card, but the problem is that my computer is half the size of a normal tower, so a new graphics card most probably wouldn’t fit inside my computer.
I’ve been looking to get a new computer anyway, so I suppose my options go to Gaming Computers.
I don’t need anything too fancy (nothing like Alienware which will end up having software that I’ll never use) just something that has a good enough graphics card to run my Sims 2 and 3 games.
Additionally, if any of you have any information on a Graphics Card that would fit in my Optiplex 755 that would be immensely appreciated as well.
My price range is hopefully under 00 (like I said, I’m not looking for anything fancy).

I am trying to find a good company for gaming computers. I pretty knowledgeable about computer parts and components and don’t mind if I have to build one piece by piece online. I have already looked at Ibuypower and Alienware.

So right now I am trying to find other options or companies that are good to look through as well. I will be spending up to 3000 dollars. Of course it doesn’t have to be 3000 dollars and its pretty easy to hit that on Alienware. What are some good options or companies to look at?
You clearly didnt read my question, lol. I know Alienware is overpriced hence why I was asking about other options.

Are there any good gaming computers that can play and burn blu ray discs because multiple people will be using it and for different purposes. would it be cheaper to build it myself? is it hard? how would i do this?

I’m desperate to start making money and/or for something to do (I’m really bored).

I noticed a lot of the ‘gaming’ computers on ebay are incredibly over-priced, and the tech specs are twisted or manipulated to make the computer seem better. I can [and did] build a PC that can play GTA 4 at medium view distance (it’s capable of max, but FPS drops to 25 FPS constantly), max render quality & traffic density, at 1920×1080 (1080p) for about 0, including a genuine (not pirated or cracked) Windows 7 license and sales tax. I’d still make about dollars profit if I sold this computer for that price. This computer usually plays GTA 4 at 30 FPS but sometimes drops to 25 minimum. For about 0 more, it could play crysis pretty well. It already plays it around 25 average FPS at 1920×1080 (typical FPS is 30, but drops a bit on big environments), everything maxed. At 1280×720 (720p) it plays it all max-out at a healthy 60 FPS.

If I sold it without a windows license, like many computers on ebay do, and used cheaper parts (cheaper case, optical drive, etc), I could bring the price down to as low as 5 (including sales tax) and still make some money on it. This includes basic USB mouse & keyboard.

What you think about selling computers on ebay? Or about the price I’d be able to sell them for? I almost don’t really care how much money I’d make, as long as it’s something to do! The money made would be a bonus.

I’m a Artist and I’m looking to buy a new computer most of my work is done digitally, the programs that I use always take up large amount of memory( Adobe, Open Canvas, etc.) and thus a lot of lagging or my computer freezes and hours of work is lost.

A couple of my friends who are also artist have computer desktops called Alienware which are gaming computers. Are gaming computer best me what I’m into, what else is out there besides AW what would you suggest?

I’m thinking about getting the m11x Alienware laptop, but I’ve heard you need to know gaming computers pretty well to maintain it. I know as much about computers as the average person, but I’m not sure if that’s enough.

I thought about making gaming computers for people that dont know how or dosent want to mess with building there own. I dont know if theres like a million people already doing this but i want to sell them on ebay. Can someone give me advice in getting into this type of business?

Can you connect up to 30+ gaming computers through one wireless N router for the purpose of LAN gaming?

I searched for some articles but those are old. I was wondering if these new wireless router have the ability to run a LAN party strictly wireless.

So PS3 costs around 0 and I believe xbox 360 is almost similar price. However gaming computers cost about 00-1200 but they can cost even 00 and I even saw Dell’s Alienware cost over 00

Does that mean that gaming computers are better than PS3/xbox360 and are better at playing games?

I am 16, earning 1100 dollars this summer from my parents. I have decided I wanted to get a computer that is good for games, because I really love playing strategy stuff, like the Total War series. Thing is, I have never bought a computer on my own before and my parents know nothing about gaming computers. Can you recommend a good computer to me (desktop preferably) I could afford, and tell me if it will have a video card already in?

I have about around k and am looking to purchase the absolute fastest gaming computer on the market. I have compared every gaming computers specifications from pretty much every maker, and can’t find anything to compete with the Psycho Killer Extreme from www.GamingPC.net . Does anyone know any other top of line super computer makers that compare with this one?

what are some good gaming computers that will run things like starcraft 2, diablo, fallout, the witcher and such without a hitch, preferably a laptop thats no more than 0. links to a web page with info on them would be awesome
and please none of the custom or build your own,cause idk really anything about comps except for how to use them
