My b-days around the corner and i was wanting to get my self a good gaming computer. What are some types that can run good graphics and not be laggy, or is it better to get a custom built?

I want to make my own gaming computer, but I would also like to save some money. The most I would want to pay for a computer would be 0. The point is, can anyone give me a good price and performance build for a desktop gaming computer? I plan to use my current monitor, keyboard, and mouse to save some more money. If the parts you suggest are incompatible with certain keyboards, monitors, or mouses please tell me. (I wouldn’t know why)

I want to buy a gaming computer from 300 to 450 dollars online i need good online buying websites that are secure and have good prices. I want it to be capable of playing the lates games out there.

how much would i be spending (australian dollars) to buy or make a gaming computer , i want it to be able to play games like battlefield 2, doom 3 , quake 4 , ect . should i buy or make ?

I’m going to do some research myself, but before I do so, about how much do you think someone will spend to build their own gaming computer? As cheap as possible, but still running games on high graphics.
Does it really have to be a AMD motherboard, I heard Asus motherboards are better?

I’ve been really wanting to build a gaming computer, but I’m not the most tech-savvy person on earth. I know I can probably do it for k, but I’d also like to know what components I should buy in the first place to build a pretty good gaming computer.
I already have a pretty good monitor, mouse, speakers, keyboard, etc. All I have to worry about is the tower.

I just got a job at Walmart part time. I will be making .25 an hr so I would like to know where i could buy a good gaming computer cause I don’t know how to make one.

My son is going to build a gaming computer at school. We are looking for websites that can give information on the right type of components.

I love macs and that is the only computer i have had and will use in my house.
I have recently been wanting a gaming computer to play team fortress 2 and minecraft on good settings. I dont know if i should get a nice convinient mac mini or have a large gaming computer.

Just under a year ago I bought my current ASUS laptop, thinking it was a great gaming computer that I could use for World of Warcraft. It has been great the time that I’ve had it but unfortunately these past weeks I found I was wrong as WoW has almost completely burned out this laptop and everything has slowed down so much that it’s not even usable sometimes.

I’m looking into buying a new computer (a desktop this time) and I really have no clue about what brands are ideal for World of Warcraft and Sims gaming? I really only have about a 00 budget (maybe a little more), so I unfortunately can’t go buy those high-tech gaming computers that are around 00.

Any advice would be much appreciated.

im looking to buy a good computer but not a gaming computer because then im not allowed to buy it but can run some games on it. Basically which brand sells computers that you can still minimally game on but not a gaming computer?

Is it cheaper to build a computer or buy one from the manufacturer? I was thinking of buying a good gaming computer around ,000 U.S Dollars.

When i say gaming computer, i mean the computer i play games on. Anyway it still lags on a lot of games i buy and i don’t know why. Here’s some of the stuff i know i have in it.

CPU: Intel pentium 4 3.06ghz socket 775
RAM: 2G
video card: Geforce 9800 Gt

Well that’s actually about all i know about it off the top of my head.. So what factors could be affecting lag on games?
