I am looking to get a new computer next week and i want to be able to run games like crysis at max settings, if not i want to be able to run crysis very well, I am not too sure what it is that i should be getting and any information, even if you can post a list of what video cards i should be getting and all that would be very appreciatyed. I am pretty well knowledgable on computers so you dont really have to explain much to me.

how much would i be spending (australian dollars) to buy or make a gaming computer , i want it to be able to play games like battlefield 2, doom 3 , quake 4 , ect . should i buy or make ?

I’m going to do some research myself, but before I do so, about how much do you think someone will spend to build their own gaming computer? As cheap as possible, but still running games on high graphics.
Does it really have to be a AMD motherboard, I heard Asus motherboards are better?

Hi, i was wondering if anyone could give me a few pointers for buy a new computer. About 1 year ago my computer died, I have yet to get a new one because of my lack of a job. But once i do get a job I plan to buy a new comp for gaming, I will need a cheap rig seeing that i am only 17 and my job will be minimum wage. All i need is a comp that can run my games at moderate to good settings. Anything helps.

im looking to buy a good computer but not a gaming computer because then im not allowed to buy it but can run some games on it. Basically which brand sells computers that you can still minimally game on but not a gaming computer?

Im looking to get a new computer (most likely want a laptop) but i only have about 500-600 dollars so i need to know if anyone knows any good computers around that price range or even cheaper. I want to play games on it and would like a good battery life. Thanks in advance to any responses.

What is a cheap (under 1000) Gaming computer That will play COD 4 and other games like that

To make a long story short, I already have a good Dell laptop for school and such, but I’m looking for a fast gaming computer for games such as The Sims, etc. What price range would I be looking at for a computer and a monitor? (Please note that I don’t speak ‘computer’ and I am very easily confused with technology talk)!

I plan on buying a 00 Alienware gaming computer. I don’t think my internet is that great. Will it affect my games at all?

I want to get an asus laptop cuz my friend said the were the best for gaming ( he said alienware was far too pricy) so I want to know what kind of:
Processor
Graphics card
Ram
I should have.
Games I want to run include call of duty and left 4 dead.

I am 16, earning 1100 dollars this summer from my parents. I have decided I wanted to get a computer that is good for games, because I really love playing strategy stuff, like the Total War series. Thing is, I have never bought a computer on my own before and my parents know nothing about gaming computers. Can you recommend a good computer to me (desktop preferably) I could afford, and tell me if it will have a video card already in?

So I really need and want a new computer for some of the newer games I wish to play. My old PC is crap and can’t take it so I was hoping someone who understands the components of building a computer can help me.

I’m looking to customize a computer but I don’t want something super expensive. I can probably bust out about 700 dollars for a gaming computer but when I try to customize… I can’t downgrade its whatever was included with it or something with higher specs. Does anyone know a website where I can customize a computer with downgrading available? … OR… does anyone know a decent gaming computer that will run games like WoW smoothly thats about 700 dollars? :L

its time for a new computer and i need some help i want a semi cheap gaming computer that will play most if not all of the games on the market today or a computer that will just need a graphics card update
and suggestions or should i build one
