Question by sactowndarkness06: Should I get a 17″ or 15″ laptop screen?
I spend a lot of time on computers and do gaming in addition. I have heard the bigger the screen the more battery power used, so, at the moment I’m undecided as to which size I should get. I currently have a 19″ wide screen monitor for my PC and just thinking about using a 15″ would look pretty awkward. I just want your opinions.

I game with a 15′, and it really is not all that bad
But, if you are going to blow money away on anything, do it on tech…
Get the 17′, if you can afford it.

Question by CamaroGuy89: What is a good laptop to buy for basic stuff?
I am looking to buy a laptop for my girlfriend for her birthday nothing fancy and high tech like these apple computers just simple to burn cd’s, regular internet browsing just basic stuff like that my price range is probably from 0-0 or so, and I would like to get one that is pretty fast as long as the price is right and a decent sized screen probably about 17″ not to big and not to small, can someone help me out?

Question by flollop42: What is the best laptop cooler for my 17″ widescreen tablet PC?
I have a Toshiba Tecra M7-111 tablet PC and it is always overheating, so I want to buy a laptop cooler for it. I have heard that some makes just make the laptop hotter because of where the air for the fans come from, and many are too small for 17″ widescreen computers. I am looking to buy from http://www.amazon.co.uk (the UK amazon site), so recommendations of products directly from that site would be most useful. Many of the products on the main (.com) US site are not available in the UK.

If you mostly use your laptop on a table, just prop up the back with an old cassette tape or piece of wood. It works wonders and is cheap. If you mostly use it on your lap, though, anyone of them are fine. Just make sure the fan locations match to the fans on the bottom of your laptop.

the height of the screen is unaffected it how wide the screen is as the measurement is diagonal
