I intend to use it primarily for mobility’s sake. I am a full time college student, and would like a laptop to take with me to class to take notes (yes, I’m lazy, but I prefer to type), use to surf the web or do research at the library/coffee shop, etc. Although I’d like to splurge and purchase a brand spankin’ new laptop with all of the bells n’ whistles, there is really no need for it as I have a brand new business class desktop at home. I only ask that it have at the very least 512MB ram, AMD Turion 64, AMD Turion 64 X2, Intel Core Duo, or Intel Core 2 Duo,
wireless networking capabilities, Windows XP, and 14"+ screen. I have looked at the outlet/refurb websites for Dell, HP, and Apple, but haven’t found anything affordable. I’m a little nervous to try eBay or Craigslist. Has anyone had good luck with either of those? Or can you suggest another site/resource? Thanks!
