My first exam from home – Day 241

«After a lot of years studying and passing exams today it’s a new experience for me, this exam is the first exam I’m allowed to do it from home via internet.
It’s a great thing to do the exam with all the notes you want, book, Google, or even help by phone if I need it.
But, believe it or not, the best thing about doing an exam from your own computer at home is that you can deal much better with the nerves (my only real enemy during all these years of study); it’s just wonderful to be able of reading the exam sit in your sofa, to stop writing to prepare a cup of coffee in your own kitchen…
It’s just comfortable.

By the way, I think I’ll pass the exam… it’s not so hard.»

Question by heythere: left my laptop out in the cold?
I typically leave my laptop out in the cold. However, last night it was really cold (24 degrees) and in the morning I tried to turn it on but it would IMMEDIATELY shut off. On the 4th try, it finally powered up and works perfectly fine now. When I do leave it in my car, it’s zipped up in a protective laptop bag.
the computer is about 2 months old….do you think something bad happened to it or is it fine? It works fine now, but I just want to know if I may have damaged something.

Question by flollop42: What is the best laptop cooler for my 17″ widescreen tablet PC?
I have a Toshiba Tecra M7-111 tablet PC and it is always overheating, so I want to buy a laptop cooler for it. I have heard that some makes just make the laptop hotter because of where the air for the fans come from, and many are too small for 17″ widescreen computers. I am looking to buy from http://www.amazon.co.uk (the UK amazon site), so recommendations of products directly from that site would be most useful. Many of the products on the main (.com) US site are not available in the UK.

If you mostly use your laptop on a table, just prop up the back with an old cassette tape or piece of wood. It works wonders and is cheap. If you mostly use it on your lap, though, anyone of them are fine. Just make sure the fan locations match to the fans on the bottom of your laptop.

Computer bags usually have extra padding to keep the computer from getting damaged.But there would be nothing wrong with having one for other stuff.

the height of the screen is unaffected it how wide the screen is as the measurement is diagonal
