Gaming computers for under $1000?

I am looking to get a new computer next week and i want to be able to run games like crysis at max settings, if not i want to be able to run crysis very well, I am not too sure what it is that i should be getting and any information, even if you can post a list of what video cards i should be getting and all that would be very appreciatyed. I am pretty well knowledgable on computers so you dont really have to explain much to me.

if u want the whole pc under 1000$ then the best graphic card would a ati radeon hd 5770(about 160$)
for the cpu AMD phenom ii x4 965 BE (240$ or some thing)
for the motherboard buy an msi 785G-E53
i have mentioned the most imp things for a gaming pc,
the rest others like monitors,psu,case, u can buy urself
The Alienware M11x (OC to 1.73 GHz) can run Crysis at medium details at about 30 FPS or high detail at about 20 FPS. It has an nVidia 335m with 1 GB discrete memory and the laptop has 4 GB of RAM. The price is about $900 (not including tax), but if you have some coupons or rebates, it could even less.
If you want to blow Crysis out of the water then get an nVidia GTX 280. It even handles Crysis on max settings with 4xAA and AF better than the nVidia 9800 GX2, but it’s expensive.
