left to right, that’s Rickety (new 13" MacBook Pro) and Pokey (2 year old 17" MackBook Pro), the workhorses of my portable office. in the photo, displayed on Pokey, are Pokey (foreground) and Gigi (5 year old, recently dead PowerBook 15"). the coffee and the cookie kinda sucked (2 hours old, courtesy of Sleep Inn).

Question by NochesEternas: why is it the this sony laptop so much cheaper than other sony computers?
Sony always has more expensive prices, but why is is that, this week in bestbuy, there is a sony 17″ intel centrino cuo pross. tech, core duo p. T7100, with 1024MB memory 160GB hardive, nVidia geforce 8400m gt graphics card, webcam, and it reads and writes cds. all for 50 (with a 150 rebate so it’s 999)

That is a good buy, I do see your point in the price of Sony products. Their laptops start at like 00 and you get lower specifications than that, all you really need to make that laptop a real good buy is to add another 1Gb stick of ram to it and you got yourself a good machine. Maybe it went on sale? You never know but that is a good buy.

I brought a SOny Vaio in bestbuy for 699!! THe regular price is 999! it’s a Intel Centrino Duo cord!! OMG same price as Acer! Same materials Same Micro Chips! AND by the way Sony monitor is the best or all! Hp is second but hp’s is to bright!
